A Few Answers to Your Questions
Whether you are seeking decorative painting, murals, gilding, or touch-up services, we prioritize customer satisfaction above all else. Our team is committed to understanding your unique needs and preferences, and we work closely with you to ensure that the final product exceeds your expectations.
To begin, we can arrange to meet, have a call, or video chat to discuss your project and gain an understanding of your vision. Based on your input, we will provide an estimate, and once approved, we will create custom sketches and/or samples according to your preferences.
For murals, a design fee is required for the initial sketches, which involves a simple line sketch followed by a detailed color sketch based on your feedback. We often use digital software like Photoshop to visualize the finished project in the actual environment. There is a limit of up to 3 sketches (2 sets of changes), and any additional sketches will be charged separately. For other techniques like gilding and decorative finishes, we create samples on boards to showcase the color and technique. A maximum of 3 samples (2 sets of changes) are included in the price, with an additional charge for any further samples.
Pricing is based on the difficulty of the technique, level of detail, condition of the surface, and other factors. A clear estimate will be provided during the design phase, and a simple letter of agreement will be drawn up upon approval.
Billing will be split into two payments: a 50% non-refundable deposit due two weeks prior to the start of the project for ordering supplies and scheduling, the other 50% at job completion and acceptance of the work. Alternative payment schedules may be arranged in some cases. Throughout the project, there will be an extensive planning process to ensure that we are aligned and avoid any misunderstandings.
We offer classes on Gilding and Verre eglomise through the Society of Gilders. Please refer to their website for upcoming events and conferences. https://societyofgilders.org/

Three panels minimum order.
We do not make any roll wallpaper, our papers are sold as single panels.
We are happy to help you determine how many panel of paper you will need for your project. We can verify if the quantity of paper you plan on ordering will be sufficient for your project if you provide us with the measurements of your walls: send us an email with the measurements of your walls (please make sure to specify height and width) and we’ll get back to you right away. Please include windows and doors.
❋ Generally in calculating wallpaper quantities, doors and windows are disregarded unless they are quite large.
❋ You will likely end up with a few extra inches of paper in each direction. If you’re installing on a larger wall and measurements are quite close, you may want to add a panel or two to your order just to make sure you have some wiggle room. If you’ve got a lot of extra paper, and windows or doors that take up significant wall space, you may be able to order a few panels less.

Wallcovering Technical Facts
REPEAT
One sheet = one repeat for most Sorelle Fine Arts patterns. Please check individual fact sheet and label of your desired wall-covering.
PAPER
Please see our individual pattern pages for specific materials and technical details.
What does untrimmed mean?
"Untrimmed" means that the excess paper on the edges of the product will have to be trimmed off by hand before the product is hung. This is typically a precise process and will require a steady hand to do so. When certain products are manufactured, the print/pattern will not bleed off the paper like most wallpapers. All designs will come untrimmed so please be aware when you place your order. All designs are hand made therefore natural variations in the product will occur which is why trimming is needed.

Touch Ups, Repairs, Matching and Blending
To perform touch-ups and blending, it is essential to have extensive knowledge about coatings, substrates, bonding, luminescence, sheen, texture, and durability. However, the most crucial tool in our arsenal of skills is experience.
It's likely that you've grown accustomed to overlooking scratches, holes, chips, dents, and blemishes in your home because you consider them as a result of wear and tear. You might assume that you need to replace the entire item or situation. And perhaps you believe that no one is capable of performing touch-ups on such items.
However, it is possible! Let Laura do her magic!
